For most travelers, your guide will pick you up in the lobby of your downtown Shanghai hotel or other meeting point at 7:30AM. The timing and best route of sites sometimes depend on the conditions. Hi-speed Train

You'll relax on a high-speed train ride at speeds of over 300 kph to your destination. Along the way you'll see urban melt into suburban and then rural areas, back to suburban and urban until you arrive.

Leifeng Pagoda

This five stories tall tower with eight sides was constructed in the year AD 975. At one point a superstition said that the bricks from the tower could repel illness or prevent miscarriage and many people stole bricks from the tower to grind into powder. It offers a unique experience with grand views of West Lake and all of Hanzhou.

SongCheng Scenic Area and Park (Song Dynasty Park)

This theme park features the culture of Song Dynasty (960-1279). It is the most popular theme park in China, attracting over 6 million visitors every year. The entire experience can take visitors back to the ancient dynastical times of 1,000 years ago. People dressed in the style of Song walk around, perform, and carry tourists around in a sedan chair.

Eternal Love of Song Dynasty Show

This show includes scenes from the time of the Song dynasty. Performance, decor, costumes, music, songs and dance and are spectacular and present the lives of the local ancients, the palace of the Song Dynasty, the legend of the Yue Army, the external farewell story of the Butterfly Lovers and the Legend of the White Snake.

Hangzhou Hefang Street

Enjoy a casual stroll down this old street filled with fascinating folk culture, Chinese tea, traditional Chinese medicine, local cuisine and historic shops. In keeping with the theme, it has be reconstructed to reflect the time period of the Song Dynasty.

After your tour, your guide will drop you off at your starting point or desired ending location.

Enduring Memories of Hangzhou

If you'd like to make your trip to Hangzhou truly spectacular, we recommend staying a little longer and watching this special performance - Enduring Memories of Hangzhou. The show is led by famous director Zhang Yimou. The name of the show is quoted from a very famous poem written by Bai Juyi (772 - 846), a great poet and politician from the Tang Dynasty. Dancers perform to magical music with beautifully lit backgrounds on the shallow water of West Lake. The performance is all on a floating platform, so that it seems like dancers are dancing on the surface of the lake. The show is absolutely a must-see in Hangzhou and a great addition to your tour.
