​Note: We will request your passport info when you book the tour to allow us to get the tickets for Forbidden City.
If your tour day has is on Monday, since the Forbidden City is closed, we'll replace it with the important heritage sites of Imperial Academy and Confucius Temple.

Itinerary

As this is a private tour, you can choose your desired starting point and time when you book. For most travelers, your guide will pick you up in the lobby of your downtown Beijing hotel or other meeting point at 8:000AM. The timing and best route of sites sometimes depend on the conditions. Our expert guides will discuss the best day with you when you meet.

Forbidden City (Imperial Palace)

The Forbidden City (also known as the Imperial Palace) has been a place of wonder and mystery for over 500 years. This massive complex sits on the northern edge of Tiananmen Square at the epicenter of Beijing. Beyond its towering fortifications, you'll find an intricate labyrinth of squares, halls, gates, pavilions, sleeping quarters, and temples.

Gate of Heavenly Peace

The Gate of Heavenly Peace is a monumental gate in the city center of Beijing, China and the front gate of the Imperial City of Beijing, and widely used as a national symbol.

Temple of Heaven

The Temple of Heaven remains one of the most important examples of Chinese religious architecture. For centuries, this is where emperors made sacrifices to the gods in hopes of achieving a fruitful harvest. Twice the size of the Forbidden City, the temple's grounds are home to many fine Ming Dynasty buildings, but the hallmark structure, the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, is a visual knockout.

Summer Palace

Located in the northwest suburbs, this oasis with the serene Kunming Lake hosts several attractions. Nearly every gate, pavilion, hall, and tower has a unique history and merits a photo. The Summer Palace possesses the largest imperial garden in China, so you can be sure there is a lot to see.
